The stock aluminium plate tends to bend during the course of long races and binds up the entire steering assembly. Graphite material will not bend and will keep the steering bellcranks operating smoothly throughout the duration of the race. Speed Tech haveadded more material around the mounting holes to extra strength and reduce the curve of the plate slightly as well again for more strength. All the ackerman adjustment holes are retained. Direct fit on to your HellFire with no modification necessary.
