This 3mm Quasi-Grade Graphite Upper Deck is lighter, thicker and wider for more strength than the stock aluminum upper deck. The Quasi-grade graphite is a high-quality grade graphite that stands up to the torsional flex of off-road racing. While other aftermarket might use component grade graphite to drastically reduce cost, we feel that due to the high-stress level of 1/8^th scale off-road racing, the quality of material must not be compromised, and only the stiffest Quasi-grade graphite must be used to sustain this type of racing.

3mm Quasi-Grad Graphite Center Brace: This piece replaces the aluminum center brace with 3mm thick Quasi-grade graphite piece for more strength over the center bulkhead. Featuring more material around the mounting screw holes, design shape that follow the lines our graphite upper deck, and ball bearings included (2 pieces) for the brake cam. This piece is sold together with the upper deck. The combination of the upper deck and the center brace graphite component gives the HellFire a much stronger chassis platform, making the truck more predictable and responsive on the track and to setup changes. This is a must have for all racers who are seriously considering racing their HellFire.

Because our upper deck is thicker than the original deck, counterboring procedures were done underneath the chassis and bulkhead braces to ensure a perfectly flat fit. This upper deck was also designed to be stronger with more material around the radio box giving it more strength around the radio box, and a more appealing look as it follow the lines of the lower chassis. More material was also added over the front and rear center driveshafts, and at the ends of the upper deck providing even more strength overall. Even with the extra thickness and the added material, this upper deck is still lighter than the stock aluminium deck.
